Project Powerstation
G. Vlastuin Transport started a new bussiness Durabilis Transport for full sustainable electric transport. They acquired four electric trucks (2x Volvo, 1x MAN, 1x Scania), which needs to be charged. At night slow charging, but during the day they need fast charging during the rest break. Powerstation consists of:
- Energy storage system of 1MW (2 sets of 500kWh) charged by Solar and connected to the grid.
- Two fast chargers of 180kW and 240kW, which are powered by the energy storage system.
With the Powerstation we like show how to build an autonomous fast charging station. It’s mobile and self-sufficient an can be placed anywhere.
